Summary Pakistan will present federal budget in parliament as minister promises public relief and urges opposition to offer constructive suggestions.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Federal Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry has announced that the federal budget will be presented in the National Assembly on Friday (today) at 3pm, while the Senate session for budget presentation will begin at 5pm.
In a statement posted on social media platform X, the minister said the government would provide maximum possible relief to the public while keeping the country’s economic situation in view.
Tariq Fazal Chaudhry said members of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and allied parties would actively participate in the budget session.

He urged opposition lawmakers to play a constructive democratic role during the proceedings and expressed hope that the session would remain free from disruptions.
The minister said opposition members should carefully review the budget documents and listen to the finance minister’s speech so they could present meaningful suggestions and recommendations.
