KARACHI (Dunya News) – The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) ended in negative territory on Wednesday after a turbulent trading session marked by sharp swings in investor sentiment.

Trading opened on a bearish note, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index falling by more than 800 points to 169,455 points during early market activity.

However, the market later staged a recovery, briefly returning to positive territory. During intraday trading, the index gained more than 300 points and climbed to 170,729 points as buying interest emerged across selected sectors.

The rebound proved short-lived as selling pressure resurfaced towards the close of trading. The market slipped back into the red and remained under pressure until the end of the session.

The KSE-100 Index ultimately closed at 169,427 points, down 903 points from the previous close, reflecting renewed caution among investors.
