KARACHI (Dunya News) – Gold prices in Pakistan continued to decline for the third straight session on Thursday, following a sharp rise earlier this week.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs1,700, bringing the new rate down to Rs441,462. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,457 to Rs378,482. The rate of 10 grams of 22-karat gold also slipped by Rs1,336 and is now being sold at Rs346,954.

The downward trend was also observed in the global market. International gold prices fell by $17, settling at $4,191 per ounce.

Silver prices also mirrored the decline. In Pakistan, silver per tola decreased by Rs85 to reach Rs6,000, while 10 grams of silver dropped by Rs72 to stand at Rs5,144. Globally, silver recorded a slight fall of $0.85, trading at $57.28 per ounce.
