Summary Cotton price went down by Rs 200 per maund in local market.
Cotton price dipped in international markets on the reports of decrease in consumption of cotton in the world.Cotton price in Punjab and Sindh reached Rs 5,700 and Rs 5,500 respectively. While cotton price recorded one percent decrease in US, China and Indian markets during the last three days.The cotton price has dipped by 34 percent in global market during the last year.
