A 12-hour loadshedding schedule has been announced by Karachi Electricy Supply Company (KESC) for industrial areas of Karachi due to shortage of gas.According to a spokesman of KESC, the increase in duration of electricity loadshedding in the industrial areas is inevitable as the company is getting only 70 mmcfd gas.The spokesman further said that the some power plants have suffered damage due to insufficient supply of gas and their production capacity has also suffered.
