Summary Investment in saving schemes increased during the first three months of the current fiscal year.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, about Rs 67.46 billion was invested in saving schemes and prize bonds, which was 22 percent higher than same period of last year.About Rs 10.67 billion was invested in prize bonds, Rs 16 billion in Regular Income Certificates, Rs 11.15 billion in Special Saving Certificates and Rs 2.26 billion invested in Defence Saving Certificates.
