International Monetary Fund head Christine Lagarde says the organization has no plans to bail out Italy and Spain in response to fears they may default on their debts.Eurozone nations have called for the bank to be given more money so it can help bigger troubled EU members such as Italy and Spain, which have faced rising interest rates on their bonds because of worries they have too much debt.Lagarde told reporters in Mexico City that we have had no discussions whatsoever with Italy and Spain to negotiate any kind of program.She called any talk of bailouts for the countries rumors, but also said that in the face of the European crisis and its global repercussions, we stand ready to help, not just countries of the eurozone.
