US President Barack Obama said he planned to discuss the need for a rebalancing of the global economy in a meeting with Chinese President Hu Jintao.Obama said cooperation between the two countries was vital.“President Hu and I are sure well be discussing the issues related to economic growth, how we can continue to rebalance growth around the world, emphasize the importance of putting people back to work, and making sure that the trade relationships and commercial relationships between our two countries end up being a win-win situation,” Obama said.The Chinese president says the Asia Pacific region is the most dynamic region of the world and should become a region of active cooperation between the US and China.Obama said cooperation between the two countries is vital to their prosperity and the prosperity of nations around the globe.Hu also talked of the need for China and the United States to work together, saying it was important in a time of complex changes.“China looks forward to maintaining and strengthening dialogue and cooperation with the United States, to respect each others major concerns, appropriately manage sensitive issues, and ensure that the China-US relationship will continue to grow on a sustainable and stable path,” Hu said.
