Summary Cotton price decreased in local market as downward trend continued in international market.
In local market, cotton price closed at Rs 5,500 per maund with a decrease of Rs 300. Cotton price registered more than Rs 500 per maund decrease in two days.According to Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association, decrease in cotton price is due to decrease in fibre price in local market.
