Summary Owing to the non-payment by government, Rs 1 billion is added to the PSO circular debt on each day.
The government has promised to pay Rs 10 billion to PSO but still the payment has not been made. According to the sources the PSO circular debt has increased to staggering Rs 160 billion. Wapda, Habco and Kepco owe Rs 135 billion to PSO.Pakistan Railways, KESC and PIA are withholding the payment of Rs 8.67 billion to PSO.
