Summary A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court, challenging ban on Rs 500 old design note.
Petitioner’s counsel Azhar Saddique has filed a writ petition in the LHC, stating that the decision has been taken in public interest. He said that the government is making huge corruption by printing new notes. He informed the court that the ban on old notes will cause high inflation. He requested the court to issue a stay order against the ban on old notes.
