Summary Upward trend persisted at the Karachi Stock Exchange during the week ended on Sep 23.
The market started the week with upward trend and the KSE-100 index gained more than 500 points in first three days. But world stocks also affected the market and the KSE-100 index closed the week with 254 points gain.Trade volume remained at 720 million shares per day which was about 35 percent higher as compared to the last year.
