Summary The greenback reaches historic high in value against the local unit
LAHORE (Web Desk) - The Pakistani rupee lost Rs2.71 against the US dollar in early trading hours on Monday, plunging historic low in value.
The dollar was being traded at Rs287.75 in the interbank market at around 10:30am. In the open market, the dollar was being traded at Rs291 with an increase of Rs4 around 11:55am.
The dollar closed at Rs285.04 in the interbank market on Monday.
