Summary Sale of cement surged in local market while its exported decreased during current FY.
According to data released by All Pakistan Cement Manufacturers Association (APCMA), about 5.2 million tonnes cement bought during two months of the current fiscal year, which was 7 percent higher than the same period of the last. Cement sale surged by 14 percent and reached 3.6 million tonnes.Volume of cement export during the same period decreased by 7 percent and remained at 1.5 million tonnes and export through sea dipped by 36 percent.
