Gold plunges after touching historic peak

KARACHI (Dunya News) – The prices of gold on Tuesday dropped by Rs850 per tola after touching historic peak of Rs169,650 per tola.

According to All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the prices of yellow metal dropped by Rs850 per tola and Rs729 per 10 grams to settle at Rs168,800 and Rs144,719, respectively.

Meanwhile, silver prices stayed above the key level of Rs1,900 per tola. The price remained unchanged at an all-time high level of Rs1,970 and Rs1,688.95.
