Summary Increase in prices of 24 daily-use items was recorded since start of Ramazan.
Trend of price hike started before Ramazan and it persisted during the holy month.According to Federal Bureau of Statistics, the prices of onions, chicken, potatos, ghee and rice further increased during the week.The report showed that weekly inflation surged by 14.8 percent, while it remained at 15.3 percent for low income group.
