Summary Rising trend observed in daily use items prices during Ramazan.
The price of chicken item recorded further Rs 20 per kilogram increase. Mutton is being sold from Rs 550 to Rs 600 per kilogram and beef is being sold at Rs 250 to Rs 300 per kilogram in local market.According to shopkeepers, electricity load shedding is hitting the production of chicken. They further said that chicken demand had surged in Ramazan, therefore its price had also went up.They stated that poor price control mechanism was also creating problems for the consumers.
