Summary The Karachi Stock Exchange-100 index closed below 12,000 points.
Due to worse law and order situation and political uncertainty hit the market badly. Once during the trading, the KSE-100 shed more than 300 points. However, the KSE-100 closed at 11,941 points with a decrease of 284 points.Buying pressure observed in the markets as share value fell. Trade volume remained at 48.7 million shares.
