Summary Downward trend witnessed at the Karachi stock market and the KSE-100 index closed at 12,098 points.
The market started the day with upward trend but it remained only for some time and later the market turned into bearish. Once, during the trading, the KSE-100 index dropped more than 200 points.However, buying surged due to decrease in share values, improved the market and some recovery noted. Finally the KSE-100 index closed at 12,098 points. Trade volume remained at 78 million shares.
