Summary Downward trend was observed in cotton price during last few weeks in local and global market.
The price has been decreased by more than 3,000 per maund in local market during the few weeks. But due to rains, supply of phutti showed decrease in markets, therefore price of cotton surged by Rs 200 to reach 6,200 per maund
