Summary PSO said power sector was being provided furnace oil according to its requirements.
The Pakistan State Oil said that it had not decreased the supply of furnace oil to the power sector.According to a statement, HEBCO is being supplied with 60,000 metric ton furnace oil while KEPCO 25,000, WAPDA 57,000 and KESC 24,000 metric tons. It also claimed that PSO faced a shortfall of Rs 135 billion.According to PSO, WAPDA, KEPCO and HEBCO are defaulters of Rs 113 billion while PSO is to pay Rs 155 billion to different national and international oil companies.
