Summary Companies have fixed the price of Urea at Rs 1250 per bag which is being sold for Rs 1650.
Owing to the high price, farmers cannot buy required amount of fertilizer. This may very adversely impact the cotton crops.According to the Agriculture Department DAP fertilizers must be bought along with Urea as companies have declared it compulsory for dealers. Dealers, to avoid their losses, are creating problems for farmers.
