Summary Prices of edibles went up by 16.2 percent in the third week of June.
According to the statistics Department, 24 percent increase in the price of tomato, 4 percent in chicken, 3 percent in onion and potatoes was witnessed.The prices of rice, gram, milk, garlic, and meat also went up. In the same week increase in the price of LPG, firewood, soap, cigarette and cloth was also recorded. 21Out of 53 essential good, prices of 21 went up.
