Summary In outgoing financial year, the production of 47 products decreased while of 43 products increased.
Official statistics reveal that diesel oil was produced 39 percent less than the corresponding period last year (10 months), kerosene 47 percent and other industrial products 21 percent.The production of cotton and woollen yarn decreased by 32 percent, diesel engine, paints and varnish 27 percent, beverages 4 percent, wheat threshers 44 percent, electric transformers 47 percent, buses 25 percent and bicycles production dipped by 23 percent.However, sugar production went up by 23 percent, cars and jeeps 14 percent, power looms 50 percent and TV sets production jumped up by 26 percent.
