Summary Pakistans trade deficit exceeded Rs 12 trillion due to rise in oil prices.
According to Federal Statistics Department, exports stood at 22.44 billion dollar during the first 11 months of the current fiscal year whereas the size of imports was 36.55 billion dollar.With increase in import bill and rise in oil prices in the international market, Pakistan’s trade deficit exceeded Rs 12 trillion.
