Summary The profiteers increased the prices of daily use items before the presentation of federal budget.
According to Statistic Department, record increased in the prices of chicken, potatoes, tomato, eggs, sugar, rice, meat, double roti, milk, cooking oil was seen during last week.Meanwhile, surge in the prices of corn, bananas, sugar, cloths and woods was also recorded. According to report, prices of 22 items out of 53 were raised, whereas prices of ten items were reduced.
