KARACHI (Dunya News) – The US dollar has hit all-time high against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market on Thursday.
According to details, the value of the greenback surged by Rs4.53 or 2.8 percent today to trade at Rs166.13 in the interbank market.
In the open market, the greenback was traded at 163/166 per USD.
Meanwhile, the currency lost 4.7 rupees to the Pound Sterling as the day s closing quote stood at PKR 198.02 per GBP, while the previous session closed at PKR 193.36 per GBP.
Similarly, the local currency s value weakened by 6.5 rupees against EUR which closed at Rs181.75 at the interbank today.
