Summary State Bank has directed commercial banks to instruct their board members with rules and regulations.
In a circular issued by the State Bank, the company secretaries of all the banks and financial institutions have been directed to instruct their board members concerned with the rules and regulations regarding their authorities, duties and responsibilities as a necessary practice.The purpose of issuing such a direction is to make sure that the directors of the banks and financial institutions know the implemented rules and regulations regarding banking and render their duties keeping themselves within the legal framework.
