Summary Cotton prices have decreased by Rs 4,500 per 40kg during the last two months.
According to experts, the decrease in prices was due to decrease in international markets. After the fresh decrease, cotton price has reached Rs 9,000 per 40kg. According to Pakistan Cotton Ginner Association, the increase in diesel, fertilizers prices and pesticides and decrese in cotton prices will hit new crop yield.
