Summary Inflation has down by 0.42 percent to reach 16.77 percent during the week, says report.
According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS), out of 53 kitchen items, the prices of 19 items showed increase, however, inflation remained at 16.77 percent. The prices of rice, potato, red chili, bread and meat showed upward trend, while prices of chicken, wheat and onion showed downward trend. The prices of LPG and cement have surged by 55pc and 47pc as compared to the last year.
