Summary The dairy farmers have increased milk price by Rs. 5 after which price has reached to Rs. 66 per litre.
According to president Dairy Farmers Haji Akhtar, the hole sale price of milk would be charged Rs. 55 per litre with the increase of Rs. 5 after which the net price of milk in the market would be sold Rs. 66 per litre.The dairy farmers said that they were waiting for the increase of price by the city government after increase of prices in the country but the one-sided decision of the City government and increase in the diesel price compelled them to increase milk price.Meanwhile, the City District Government has announced to take action against the people selling milk at high prices.
