Summary The sale of cement surged by 24 percent during March 2011.
According to JS Research report, the export of cement has surged by 16 percent in March as compared to February. During March, 2.2 million tonnes cement was sold in local markets and 8 lakh tonnes cement was exported. The cement sale decreased by 4 percent as compared to the last year. The cement factories are producing 81 percent of its capacity.
