KARACHI (Dunya News) - Pakistan domestic debt and liabilities in one year increased by 11% by June 30, 2018 reaching Rs 17 trillion.

According to a report, in five years, domestic debt and liabilities of Pakistan have shot up by 74% and increased by Rs 7.239 trillion.

On June 30, 2013, debt and liabilities amounted to Rs 9.764 trillion.

Pakistan’s external debt in one year climbed by 14 percent and rose by $12 billion. However, by June 30, 2018, it amounted to $95 billion.

External debt in five years increased by 56 percent while at the end of fiscal year June 30, 2013, it stood at $61 billion.
