Summary Sales tax on petrol reduced by 2.5 percent to 9.5 percent.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Government of Pakistan on Wednesday, announced reduction in sales tax on petroleum products.
As per details garnered, sales tax on petrol reduced by 2.5 percent to 9.5 percent while by 2 percent to 22 percent on diesel.
On the other hand, sales tax on kerosene reduced by 6 percent and by 8 percent to 1 percent on light diesel oil.
Reduction in sales tax helped government to keep petroleum products unchanged.
