Summary Inflation reaches 16.82 percent by recording a surge of 0.8 percent during the last week.
According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics (FBS), inflation for the low income group has surged by 0.8 percent and reached 16.82 percent, while the inflation has decreased by 0.24 percent and reached 15.25 percent for the people with more than Rs 12,000 income a month.According to the report, the prices of wheat, meat rice, sugar and milk showed upward trend.Out of 53 kitchen items, the prices of 20 items showed increase, 13 items decline, while the prices of 20 items remained stable during the week.
