Summary The dollar at banks remained unchanged at Rs 115.50.

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Dollar during the trading sessions at banks remained unchanged at 115.50 however in open market it was up by 50 paisa to Rs 116.50.

Fresh buying emerged in the dollar owing to some renewed demand following holiday season and several traveling to perform Umrah.

While few bought dollars in wake of anticipation that the dollar might rise further after the end of the tenure of this government, said a money changer.

According a dealer, the dollar at banks remained unchanged at Rs 115.50 as it appeared that following the statement of the Advisor to Prime Minister Miftah Ismail that the government want to keep the dollar at this level.
