KARACHI (Dunya News) - Dollar again showed a small rise of 26 paisa and the greenback, for the third consecutive session, witnessed upward movement.

Dollar during trading session made a high of 115.75 but closed at 115.40 to a dollar gaining 26 paisa compared with Wednesday close.

On Monday, Abid Qamar, spokesman for the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), told Reuters that the rupee plunge was a “market driven” event. However, foreign exchange traders say the central bank’s withdrawal of support for the rupee in daily market operations on Tuesday sent the currency lower.
