Summary The Karachi Stock Exchange (KSE) ended more than two percent higher on Friday a day before the visit of Finance Minister Hafeez Sheikh to the KSE to launch a margin trading system (MTS).

The benchmark 100-share index ended 2.02 percent, or 283.03 points, higher at 12,000.03 points. Turnover rose to 187.45 million shares as compared with 162.44 million shares traded on Thursday.The market once added more than 300 points during day’s trading. At the end of the day, KSE closed at 12,000 points with an increase of 238 points. Business volume remained 19.61 crore shares.
