Summary Asian stock markets showed an upward trend on Wednesday.
According to market experts, increase in industrial production and a huge profit of corporate sector have pushed the index up. Japans Nikkei and Topix rose by 0.6 and 0.3 percent respectively. The Shanghai composite up by 0.85 percent in early afternoon trade, led by banks and energy stocks.
