Summary A Federal Bureau of Statistics report has revealed that inflation rate in the ongoing week came down to 16.1%. According to the FBS report, the average inflation rate has come down 0.37%.
Despite the decrease in tomato prices, the commodity is being sold out at much higher price that it was sold at last year. Other food items, including garlic, red chilies and ghee, gained 30 to 65% price increase. Last week, out of 53 household items, 20 items’ prices increased, 11 decreased and 22 were remained still at the earlier prices.
