The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), in a report, has stated that exports of Pakistani meat has gone down to $140.345mn in first eight months of ongoing fiscal year from $188.345mn a year ago.
Contrary to developments in Pakistan, international trade of meat has soared by 16pc to $700 billion.
In February-2017 alone, meat exports witnessed a decline of 42pc. A rough estimate states that 169 million cattle are present and country produce 7300 million tonnes of meat every year.
