Summary

Crude oil futures went marginally down Tuesday, after crossing $100 per barrel on Monday, due to uncertainty over political unrest in Egypt. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, light, sweet crude futures for delivery in March traded at $92.08 a barrel at 0656 GMT, down $0.11 in the Globex electronic session. March Brent crude on London's ICE Futures exchange fell $0.49 to $100.52 a barrel. Crude may also come under pressure as traders unwind bets on higher prices ahead of U.S. oil inventories data due Wednesday from the Department of Energy. Crude inventories are expected to rise by 2.6 million barrels in the week to Jan. 28, according to the average estimate of five analysts polled by Dow Jones Newswires.
