LAHORE (Dunya News) – Cotton price has reduced by Rs 150 per 40 kilogram on Tuesday taking the total to Rs 6,200 for the said weight.
Reduction in price has come in following the falling prices in international market.
Chairman of Pakistan Ginners Association, Shahzad Ali Khan told Dunya News that the reduction in price of cotton bales in temporarily and would not last for long.
Cotton price would again go back to the Rs 6,500 and Rs 7,000 per 40 kilogram after Eidul Azha, he said.
He further said that increased production of cotton was expected this season.
