Cotton import is likely to be declined by 25 percent due to the worst flooding that hit the country. Pakistan enjoys 4th place in cotton exporter worldwide, however the worst flooding caused severe damage to its yield incurring heavy losses worth $3.5billion. Around 1 billion bales would be imported this year.
