Summary Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index edged up 9.99 points, to 21,332.36 by the break
HONG KONG (AFP) - Shanghai stocks ended the morning session lower Thursday, a day after data showed Chinese exports and imports sank in June, but Hong Kong was marginally higher after reversing early losses.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.42 percent, or 12.83 points, to 3,047.86 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China s second exchange, edged down 0.08 percent, or 1.65 points, to 2,040.01.
Hong Kong s Hang Seng Index edged up 9.99 points, to 21,332.36 by the break.
