Petroleum prices expected to rise by next month

According to sources, petroleum prices rose by 6-7 percent during the month of September, 2010 internationally. The price of per barrel of petrol remained 67-70 dollars while diesel prices remained 73-77 dollars per barrel. Petroleum prices increased from 72 dollars per barrel to 75 dollars in the gulf market after which the prices are expected to rise in Pakistan as well. However the final decision would be announced on 31st October, 2010.
