Summary Pakistan’s trade deficit increased by 4.2% as compared to the past financial year.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan’s trade deficit has now escalated to more than 15 billion USD and has increased by 4.2% as compared to the past financial year.
According to foreign trade statistics released by Pakistan Bureau of Statistics, the country’s exports from July to February stand at 13.87 billion USD, indicating a decline by 13% in exports compared to the previous financial year.
According to the released statistics, Pakistan’s imports from July to February stand at 28.97 billion USD, which is 5% less as compared to the past financial year.
