Qadirpur plant annual repair: Punjab to face more gas holidays

Gas supply to the industrial areas of Punjab and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has been suspended while CNG stations would also be closed down for 3 days. According to the sources, the closure of Qadirpur gas field will cause a gas shortage, in view of the situation; the SNGPL has decided to cut off supplies to the industry for five days from Sept 13-17 and to the CNG sector for three days on Sept 14, 15 and 18. The CNG filling station owners have protested against the decision, saying it would hurt their business.
