Summary Chicken price saw a three percent increase while that of tea, two percent rise

LAHORE (Dunya News) – Inflation has risen by 3.2 percent within one month, according to official statistics, Dunya News reported Friday.

In November 2015, inflation stood at 2.7 percent while that in December 3.2 percent. Within a period of one month, mash lentils price rose by six percent while that of eggs by 3.7 percent.

Chicken price saw a three percent increase while that of tea, two percent rise.

Upon arrival of winters, vegetables prices have decreased by 24 percent within a month. Tomatoes, onions, potatoes have seen cut of 27 percent, 16 percent and 15 percent respectively.
