As rains and floods affected the transportation system due to which cotton price has started decreasing in Punjab and Sindh. According to Pakistan Cotton Ginners Association, cotton price has been decreased by Rs 300-400 per maund during last two days. Cotton price was recorded Rs 6,300 per maund in Punjab while it was being sold at Rs 6,200 per maund in Sindh. On the other hand, cotton price has been increased in the international market due to devastation of the crop in Pakistani floods.
